About Me

Hello, my name is Maggy and sometimes I write.

Other times, I live my ordinary life and all I have
for a blank screen & blinking caret is a promise of “soon”.

If you know me, hi.
If you don’t, welcome.

这里或许有些杂乱 但是真实的东西好像通常如此。

  2. So…there’s this thing called The Entertainer Blogger Award that I nominated you for here:

    https://dearlilyjune.wordpress.com/2016/08/02/i-feel-stupid-and-contagious-on-the-occasion-that-your-mom-is-called-an-entertainer/

Even if you decide not to “follow the rules” for the award (you rebel!) I just want you to know that I respect you and what you write on your blog.

Just so you don’t think I’m trying to con you into reading my blog against your wishes, I’m copying what I wrote about you there below:

maggy liu–Her poetry is gut-wrenching, soul-searching, mind-blowing. Also, she has a recent poem about trying to vomit vodka. Unsuccessfully.

    Thanks for what you do.

    1. Hey that’s awesome, mind letting me know what brought you into this little corner of mine? (please stay for a while)

I was born in China, grew up in New Zealand & I’m currently based in Australia!

      1. I was just checking out posts tagged ‘poetry’ and your writing caught my eye 🙂

Wow – I was born and raised in NZ to Chinese parents and am currently in Australia too! I’m in my first year of uni, what about you?

  3. I have just been lead here via your Reddit link on OCPoetry. I felt better to comment here, than there, as it’s more of a ‘bravo!’ Than a critique.
Those words profoundly meant a lot to me and after a brief look through here, I feel we are walking parallel lines in regards to our art.

Nurture this baby, you’re on to something wonderful.
